Building Healthy Families: “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” It’s a simple idea—but a powerful one. This week, you’ll almost certainly face a moment that tests your patience or perspective. When it comes, don’t rush past it. Pause. Breathe. Reflect. Remember: you have a choice—not just in how you respond, but in how you see the situation in the first place. Take a step back and lean into the source of true wisdom: “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity.” (James 3:17) What would it look like to answer with wisdom, grace, gentleness, reason, and sincerity? www.LutheranFamilyService.org Lutheran Family Service

Stewardship Corner
· God gives us more than we need so He can work through us. He blesses us so we can be a blessing to others. In His sovereignty, God has chosen us to be His hands, feet, and mouths. God could use His angels to help the needy, to teach His Word, and to spread the Gospel, but instead He gives us the privilege to be His instruments. God knows that by ourselves we are not capable of being His instruments so He equips us for this responsibility by giving us His Holy Spirit. With God’s help, we can be people who willingly serve God by helping and serving others.
