Camp Okoboji Spring Volunteer Weekend is May 1-3. Share your time & talents to help us prepare camp for the busy summer ahead. Projects available for all abilities. Camp Personnel: We need 2026 Summer Staff! Please encourage youth (at least 16 years of age) and college students to consider serving with us. Those interested in serving at Camp Okoboji, or any LCMS camp in 2026 should complete a NLOMA profile. That is the first step in being considered for a summer position. Here’s an important message: Don’t ever let lack of finances be a barrier to calling LFS for support! A growing number of LCMS people are making monthly, quarterly, or annual gifts so that LFS can always say “Yes” when someone calls for help who doesn’t have insurance or financial resources to cover the entire cost of care. LFS accepts most major insurances and offers a sliding fee scale for those without insurance. Pregnancy counseling is always provided with no fee. Don’t hesitate to call. Stewardship Corner - God’s love is the energizing power so essential to every life. Christ’s love summons us to a secure and happy life of repentance, forgiveness, and sanctification. “For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him Who for their sake died and was raised” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). Because of God’s love, we put away all idols which the devil, the world, and our own sinful nature place before us. That love causes us to put duties before pleasures, to love God and our neighbors. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are motivated to help and serve others. As God’s stewards, we are tools in His hands.

Grief Support Group - Hospice of the Heartland is offering a compassionate time to process your emotions with a Grief Support group. This will be held on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. starting on March 25-April 29, 2026 at Kossuth Regional Health Center Conference Room C in Algona. Information sheets are in a rack on east wall.
