Building Healthy Families: Humility is hard to come by during a difficult conversation—especially when you’re sure you’re right and your husband (or wife, or child, or parent, or co-worker, or neighbor, or pastor…) is wrong. Here are three simple but powerful words to remember that will help when conflict comes in any relationship: I am sorry. Learn from God’s word: “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Proverbs 15:1 www.LutheranFamilyService.org Lutheran Family Service

Jesus said, "Go! I am sending you…” (Luke 10:3). You say, "Well, wait a minute, Don’t we first have to have some training in witnessing?” Certainly, it's helpful to know about the teachings of certain cults and world religions and how various people think and the philosophies of our time in order to find entry points for the Gospel, but eventually, it all comes down to the fact that you have a story to tell, you have a King to proclaim. So don't shirk the duty because you don't feel you have specific training. The mission is urgent because people without knowing Jesus as their Lord and Savior will be separated from Jesus for an eternity.
