Kids of the Kingdom Preschool is once again having a ‘Cobbler and Ice Cream Social’ at the Burt Summer Celebration, July 8. Rather than have the congregation bake for us we are asking for monetary donations for ingredients, so we can do the baking for you! This fund raiser is another important way we can keep our St. John’s preschool available to the students. Any amount is appreciated and you can give it to any Board member. Thank you in advance! Kids of the Kingdom Board and Staff
Quarterly Council Meeting will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 following the service. The Voter’s Meeting will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 following that service.

Did You Know: It wouldn’t happen. LFS statewide ministry of counseling, advocacy supporting life, adoption, youth education, caregiver support and marriage enrichment among troubled individuals, couples and families in Iowa as an extension of our LCMS congregations could not be carried out without your partnership. June 30 marks the end of LFS’ fiscal year. If you haven’t done so yet this year, demonstrate your care for those served through your partnership in this local, Lutheran, Christ-centered work by sending a gift this week by mail (409 Kenyon Rd, C, Fort Dodge, 50501) or online (through the secure portal at LFSiowa.org/donations). Every gift matters; your help this week is needed and appreciated! Lutheran Family Service
