Thank You! It is with great thankfulness for the outpouring of generous support by all of you for the IDW Disaster Relief special offering we took the last couple weeks for emergency supplies, shelter, and long-term recovery efforts for those affected in Western Iowa during the tornados, floods and damage to homes and infrastructure. Donations to this fund from St. John’s was a total of $2259. In times like this our faith has brought us together to make a difference in other’s lives!!

Building Healthy Families -“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” During the coming week you will have the opportunity to choose how to think about and respond to at least one challenging situation. When you do, remember that you have a choice about both. Discern and respond wisely and remember your source of wisdom: “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity.” James 3:17 Lutheran Family Service www.LutheranFamilyService.org
