DISCOVER CAMPaign OKOBOJI  is a fundraiser to help maintain quality facilities and programs at Camp Okoboji. We are in the middle of stage 1 Campaign to update the Crafts building with a state of the art activity center that will provide experimental and interactive opportunities for campers and guest.  Stage 2  of the building will provide well-equipped and comfortable housing for summer camp staff as well a retreat for medium sized groups.  We are still asking for donations to make this a reality.  Envelopes and more information are on the table in the back of the church.  Place your contribution in the offering plate.

Building Healthy Families:  Parenting has never been an easy job, but it is arguably harder today than ever before. Getting kids back into school routines after taking the summer off is also challenging. Is there a young family God has put in your path through your work, school, church, neighborhood or family? Take some time this week to connect with them to see how they are doing. Offer to help. With your parenting experience and a bit of your time, you may be their answer to prayer!  Lutheran Family Services

Thank You - It is an honor to accept the gift we recently received that was designated toward the Discover Campaign Okoboji building expansion.  I continue to be amazed by the generosity of God’s people as they willingly share His love and kindness with others. Your acts of kindness are a true testimony to the love of God, which dwells in your heart and works to serve others.

*Personal Note – “It was my pleasure to be with you on July 17. Thank you for your support of the Discover CAMPaign”   -- Doug Kading
