Quarterly Council Meeting will be held today April 6 following the service and the Voter’s Meeting on April 13 following the service. These meetings are moved up due to Easter falling on our usual Sunday.
All Wednesday Lenten Services will be held here at St. John’s at 6:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. here at St. John’s.
“THE HAND OF THE LORD” is our theme for Lent this year. Hands are used to heal, mend, build, teach, comfort, and so much more. Yet, as humans, our hands are sinful and unclean. Christ’s hands are the ones that can transform our sinful and dirtied hands into beautiful, clean ones to carry out His plans. Spend this Lent exploring God’s Word to see how His hands are used in both the New and Old Testaments, from creation to crucifixion and eternal life.
Pictorial Directory: It was decided and voted on last Sunday to go ahead with the Picture Directory. Our dates are set now for June 17-18 from 2-8:30 p.m. both dates. If you cannot make this you are welcome to set appointments at Trinity May 28-31 or June 11-14, 2025 and have them taken there. A committee will be appointed to help with this process here at Burt.

· Easter Egg Hunt will be held at St. John’s, Burt on Saturday, April 19, at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome!! You have any questions or wish to help, please contact Pastor Briton and Jade Nelson.
· A Sign Up Sheet is available in the back for those who would like to donate bars/cookies for the Easter Egg Hunt.
· Easter Breakfast will be held by the LYF group here at Burt on April 20 at 8:30 a.m. till 9:15 a.m. Serving: Muffins, Juice & Coffee)
Adult Bible Class is studying the “The Hand of the Lord” to go along with our Lenten Series each week at 8:15 a.m. Come join us!!

Looking Ahead - Confirmation for Zackery Steven and Avery Thomas will be held on Sunday, May 11. Keep these confirmands in your prayers!! Last Midweek Class will be April 30.

Adverse Weather - When church is to be cancelled due to snow etc, the Elders and Pastors will make the decision and then a Flocknote Cancellation call will be sent out to your cell phone or home phone. We will also try to put it on the Algona Radio.

TLC Quilters - Don’t forget about the TLC Quilter’s “giving pew” by the east doors of St. John’s. Feel free to take and give away as many quilts and bears as you’d like!
Save the Date - Immanuel Lutheran Lotts Creek Church will be celebrating their 150th Anniversary on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Service will start at 10:30 a.m. with a meal to follow. Please save the date and spread the word!!

In Concert - Appearing tonight (April 6) at 6:00 p.m. at the Lone Rock Presbyterian Church the husband and wife team of Blake and Jenna Bolerjack will present a Concert. Please, join us for this evening of Christian music!
Lions Club French Toast Breakfast will be held 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today (April 6) at the Burt Activity Complex. Burt Women's Club will also be hosting a bake sale.
Burt Library Fish Fundraiser will be held on Friday April 11 from 5-7pm. This is held behind the Burt Library utilizing the alley to the south. Enter from the East Side by the Fire Station.
