Building Healthy Families: Wives, want to have a closer relationship with your husband, even during times of stress or conflict? Check your tone, your attitude, and your words. Research supports what Scripture tells us: During an argument, 83% of husbands feel disrespected. “Each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” (Ephesians 5:33) Respect your husband always, even when you’re not happy with him. It’s not just a good idea, it’s a clear directive from the creator of marriage Himself. And it actually works!  Lutheran Family Service - www.LutheranFamilyService.org.
