CHRISTMAS SERVICES – Christmas Eve Children’s Program: 6:00 p.m. 24th ; Christmas Day Service: 9:00 a.m. No Sunday School and New Year’s Day Sunday Service: 9:00 a.m. No Sunday School. New Years Eve Joint Service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Fairville at 6:00 p.m.
ADOPTED FAMILY – Our adopted family is a family of 4 – single mother and 3 children.
*(Caleb) - boy age 9: Boy- Shirt and jean size 8. Toys: Football, anything sports etc.
*(Kayla) girl age 7: girl shirt size 8 and jean size 7x. Toys: Radio, Barbie stuff and anything Justin Bieber
*(Dom) boy age 5: Shirt top 5T, pants 4-5T. Toys: Disney cars, Toy story, big coloring books
*Mother – misses medium sweatshirt not picky
For Family: Food certificates and/or gas cards
Bring your gifts wrapped and marked for what child to the church and place them in the designated box in the back. All gift cards and money can be given to Don & Pam Madsen and Boyd & Rosann Shipler or Jerry and Betty Koestler. Delivery will be Wednesday, December 21st but we would like to have most of the gifts in to the church today- December 18th.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS - The Christmas Committee is asking for cash donations to help with purchase of the tree and the children’s Christmas sacks of candy for Christmas Eve. You may put your gift in the offering plate and mark it Christmas Committee or give it to one of the committee: Stefanie and Tony Hatten,Randy & Pam Reimers, Vern & Joan Koestler or Lucas and Jessie Parsons.
ANNUAL REPORT ARTICLES - Committee heads or special program heads, please start working on your annual reports. I would like to have those in to me by the first of the year. BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES –Depression during the Christmas season is common. If you recognize yourself or someone close to you struggling with depression during this time of the year, we encourage you to contact your local LFS office for more information or to schedule an appointment with one of the LFS counselors.
