THE FLOWERS ON THE ALTAR this morning has been given in love and celebration for 55 years of marriage by the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Wendell and Esther Christensen.

CHRISTMAS CHILDREN PROGRAM PRACTICE will be held this Saturday, November 19th at 9:00 a.m.
SPECIAL THANKS to Arlene and Don Behnkendorf for many many years of service to the church and the church secretary. Don and Arlene have come to help me each week by folding the Sunday bulletins . THE KOINONIA GROUP is asking for help with the Adopted Family this year. As our group is no longer active we are asking the congregation to help us with this project! Contact: Boyd & Rosann Shipler or Don Pam Madsen if you would be willing to help.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE needs to meet to get the slate of officers set for 2013. That committee is: Pastor Peterson, Elder, Wendell Christensen Sr., Senior Trustee, Mike Marlow, President, Jeff Schutjer and one other person appointed by the President.
CHRISTMAS COFFEE – Join us for coffee and cookies after church on Sunday December 4th as we celebrate the beginning of the Christmas Season. Ladies Aid and Evening LWML Groups
POINSETTA PLANTS – There will be a sign-up sheet for poinsettia’s in the back of the church for anyone who would like to purchase a plant for the church to use for Christmas. You can take their plants hom3e after Christmas morning services if you would like. Pay Cheryl Batt or the plants!
SPECIAL COUNCIL AND VOTER’S MEETING will be held on December 8th. This meeting will be to present and approve the 2013 Budget and Slate of Officers. The Voter’s Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 11th following the service.
BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES – The history of Thanksgiving can be traced back to 1621during colonial times. Abraham Lincoln finally proclaimed Thanksgiving a nationally observed holiday in 1863. Today, Thanksgiving gives us the opportunity to reflect on the many good things that have happened in our lives over the past year and to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
