HELP WANTED -  Sound system volunteers:  I need three reliable volunteers to help operate the sound system for the church.  Here's how it works: when it is your month to work, you are expected to be at the church (with adequate time to spare) to operate the sound and video system, or to find a responsible replacement if you cannot be there.  Christmas, Easter, lent, advent, funerals, and weddings are all part of the package.  Your salary will be negotiated at the heavenly level.   Contact Duane Peter if interested.

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES –  Paul records in the Book of Acts: "Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta. The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold." Did you know that this is National Random Acts of Kindness Week? How might you give witness to the faith that is in you by doing something "unusually kind", in Jesus name, for someone else this week?   Lutheran Family Service of Iowa
